Eagles Nest

Eagles Nest encompasses an entire township (approximately 23,000 net acres) of land in the northern portion of the Athabasca region. Cavalier purchased the Eagles Nest asset out of a bankruptcy process in early 2012.

Eagles Nest is prospective for bitumen in the McMurray formation and estimated to contain over 1.9 billion barrels of original bitumen in place, with 178 million barrels of prospective recoverable resource.
